This course is aimed at developing the looking and drawing skills as well as passing on the scale and gauging techniques used by the Renaissance artists. You will also learn more modern "size by sight" techniques used by artists since the Renaissance period. This workshop is studio based with life models. Suitable for anyone wishing to improve their drawing and observation techniques.

Traditionally, Life drawing is the corner stone for all applied art practice. This course is aimed at developing the looking and drawing skills as well as passing on the scale and gauging techniques used by the Renaissance artists. You will also learn more modern "size by sight" techniques used by artists since the Renaissance period. This workshop is studio based with a life model. Suitable for anyone wishing to improve their drawing and observation techniques. There will also be some work done in pastels inspired by great artists such as Degas.

The price for the 5 day workshop includes accommodation, full-board, art materials and a half-day excursion.
