This one-day workshop offers you the opportunity to design and make a ring, pendant, brooch or earrings out of sterling silver, with the option of adding a gemstone to your design. About the tutor
Katrina Brehaut is an experienced contemporary jeweller. She tutors night classes at The Silversmiths Guild of Canterbury Inc. and is currently an Artist in Residence at Hagley Community College where she teaches jewellery making. Her pieces are presented in collections world-wide and she has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions.
Katrina’s own designs are inspired by nature, she uses simple lines, strong colours, gentle textures and soft finishes.
