Learn to throw your own piece on the potters wheel, get creative and decorate a bowl or plate, or combine both workshops for the full clay experience
|
Half day workshop with Hugh and Sara-Linda MacMillan
Enjoy the process of creating from clay on the potters wheel, take part in a decorative session using pre made blank pieces or choose to combine both workshops.
The potters wheel
This is a fully tutored session on the potters wheel where you will create at least two pieces, Hugh and Sara-Linda guarantee you a successful outcome. It's then up to you to choose the colours for your pieces and MacMillans will fire and freight them to your door.
Decorative workshop
Explore your creativity as you spend time decorating a side plate and a breakfast bowl. Once finished MacMillans will fire and freight them to your door.
About the tutors
Most of the staff at MacMillans are involved in one or both workshop sessions and can guide you through the processes for a satisfying experience. MacMillans Ceramics has been producing tableware and art works for around 18 years and will pass on their experience to you during your visit.
