Photographer: MIRJAM VAN DER LINDEN, studied photography at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. She is specialised in portrait & illustrative photography. As a freelance photographer she works for magazines & private persons and as a autonomous (art) photographer.
Photographer: PETRA VAN VLIET, studied at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam. As freelancer she works on several accounts, like theatre, magazines, companies and private persons. Throughout the year Petra organises several photo workshops in the famous neighbourhood "Jordaan" in Amsterdam. Both photographers enjoy sharing their knowledge of (the basis elements of) photography with everyone who is interested in photography.

Consists of basis elements of photography, daily practice, group evaluation of the results & photo series. The workshop starts with a lecture of the basis elements of photography, like composition, diaphragm & shutter, light effects and especially "spotting". You will be amazed about the improvement of your photos. Each day you will train yourself on a subject. The results (photos) will be evaluated (on a daily basis) during a groupsession, together with tips to improve your style. Working with a group gives you the opportunity to exchange ideas and see the improvement/development of your fellow-participants. Our aim is to stimulate your pleasure in photography and that you will be proud -at the end of the week- of your photo serie.
