Landscape and Still Life with Julia Sterland
During the class at La Rogaia there will be at least one indoor session per day to teach basic drawing and watercolour techniques and then in the afternoon or early evening painting at suitable sites of interest nearby. Julia will also teach one oil still life session indoors. Materials are very important and many beginners have poor quality paper and brushes. Therefor materials can be purchased from Julia to ensure they are good quality. In this way participants can obtain good value for money and also minimise costs.

Fee:
EUR 480 per person per week with lodging in double room (shared bathroom for 3 - 4 persons)
EUR 600 per person per week with lodging in single room (shared bathroom for 3 - 4 persons).
EUR 530 per person per week with lodging in private apartment “La Pipo” or “I Cuccioli” with bathroom, kitchenette and private terrace (double occupancy).
EUR 565 per person per week with lodging in private apartment “La Grapo” with bathroom, kitchenette and private terrace (double occupancy).
Price includes:
Teaching for the entire week of the course, i.e. 6 hours of instruction on 6 days. Lodging.
Umbria-Tourist-Card for reduced entrance tickets to museums and for discount in many shops in Umbria.
Price does not include:
Food. There is the possibility for selfcatering either in a spacious common kitchen or in the apartments. There are restaurants and shops at the village of Castel Rigone at 4 km distance from La Rogaia.
Materials for water colour painting. These can be purchased on site at about EUR 60 for a basic set of paints, a palette, a brush and paper.
