The colour and light of Kefalonia is inspiring and uplifting! We are based in the traditional, picturesque fishing village of Fiscardo. with it’s lively harbour where the fishermen still bring home their catch and people while away the hours over a coffee, watching the world go by. The area around Fiscardo is outstandingly beautiful where the only sound to disturb your peace may be the lapping of the water. or the hum of insects.

Each day is an adventure. We will visit secret coves with pebbly shores and crystal clear waters, sit under the shade of ancient olive trees, discover deserted hamlets, walk among Mycenaen ruins and immerse ourselves in the simplicity and beauty of Greece.

This holiday is open to all but is particularly suitable for near beginners. Through guided excercises and lots of fun, Laura will help you build on your skills and discover the joys of drawing and painting.

Each room in Stella has a balcony with views across the Ionian Sea to the neighbouring islands. The price does not include any meals.

Your Tutors:
Laura is a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art and an experienced artist and teacher who offers regular courses in and around Scotland. This will be Laura’s 9th year taking students to Kefalonia. She has lived and travelled widely in Greece. Now, together with her husband Dimitri, she owns a house in the hills above Fiscardo.

Nicky graduated from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen and the Slade School of Fine Art, London and has more than 10 years tutoring experience. She lived and worked with her husband Juan in Mexico for several years and is a fluent Spanish speaker, leading our holidays to Andalucia where her family have lived for 4 generations. Nicky is also a qualified Scottish Tourist Guide.
