I was trained in ornamental wood carving and specialised in Adam and Chippendale styles to name only a few. I restore old carvings and furniture, but my love has turned to sculpture. I am happy to teach any wood carving style and also sculptural techniques generally. My studio, although basic is set in the very picturesque area of South Devon and one is able to walk out from our village here in South Brent directly onto the moors, by rivers, through woods without having to get into a car. The sea is about 30 minutes away, and we have Exeter airport only 30 minutes away, and Bristol airport 1hour and 45 mins away. !0 minutes by car down the road we have Dartington Hall, a very beautiful and quintessentailly English cultural center along with all that Plymouth and Exeter can offer.
