Our celebrated Creative Writing courses are operated by published writer and Poetry School professional Sarah Hymas.

We also offer Digital Film-making courses for individuals to join and our unique Golf and Gourmet breaks for groups, in which we remove the stress of booking your golf and travelling to a selection of courses, with evening meals at home or at splendid restaurant also included in the price.

Other arts-based courses are for booking by groups only - 6 people minimum. These include Books and Drama, Creative Art and Art with Embroidery.

French House Party all-inclusive residential breaks are held at an elegant country property with 8 en suite bedrooms, where you can enjoy tennis on our court, cool off in the lovely swimming pool (exclusive to guests), play boules on our own boule-drome or maybe cycle or walk along the banks of the nearby Canal du Midi.

We also include a private wine-tasting trip on nearly all our courses - here inside the biggest vineyard in the world - where more wine is produced annually than in Australia!

Tailor-made Corporate Breaks are a speciality. We also cater for large ready-made groups who wish to bring their own tutor, or who are looking for somewhere chic for a personal celebration.

In the rare event that we are forced to cancel a course because of failure to achieve the minimum number of people required (usually 6 people), we will refund all monies received.

However, for this reason, we advise clients who reserve a place not to book flights until we inform them that the minimum number has been reached, and that the course will operate.

Clients who, despite this advice, wish to go ahead and book their flights early should therefore ensure that they have flight cancellation insurance in place.

This is serious playtime for grown-ups! "If someone is like me and gets bored on the beach but has visited enough monasteries and ruins for a while, then this could be the holiday for them. The courses are led by true enthusiasts and you can't help but be infected by their enthusiasm, even if you don't have your own to begin with! The choice of texts was excellen ... It was well integrated with the drama. The house is wonderful, the food a delight and the people you meet will share your thirst for an intellectual adventure - this is serious playtime for grown-ups!" Lindsey Philipson
